About HookSend
HookSend sends an Instagram DM automatically when someone comments your keyword on a post or reel. It is built for creators and businesses in India, and it runs on Meta's official Instagram API.
Why we built it
Many Instagram comments are requests: "link please", "price?", "details?". When a post or reel does well, answering each one by hand within seconds is impossible.
HookSend answers for you. Someone comments your keyword and, within seconds, gets a DM with what they asked for: a link, a discount code, a lead form or a set of product cards. It also handles story replies, follow-up messages, tracked links, a follow gate that sends your link only to people who follow you, and a storefront page for your bio.
The Growth and Agency plans add knowledge bases, where AI answers DMs from your own FAQ, PDF or web page in the language the question was asked in, and DM flows with buttons and questions. HookSend also has Comment Guard, which can hide or delete spam and abusive comments under your posts, and a Collabs inbox that picks out brand offers from your DMs and flags the ones that look like scams.
How it works with Instagram
Everything goes through Meta's official Instagram API and webhooks.
Official Instagram login
You connect through Meta's own login screen. HookSendnever asks for your Instagram password, and it doesn't scrape Instagram or automate a browser.
Encrypted access
The access token Meta gives us for your account is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is stored.
Paced sending
Private replies go out below Meta's hourly limit for each account. When a post gets more comments than that, the rest wait in a queue instead of being dropped.
Buttons and tracked links
DMs can carry Instagram buttons, and links are tracked, so you can see how many clicks each campaign brings in.
